Itinerary
R10 / EuroVelo 9 · Start: Chlebnicka 19/20 St., Gdańsk

Gdańsk Old Town
Your journey begins in the heart of historic Gdańsk. Leaving the medieval streets, you cycle towards the Motława River and former shipyard areas. A gentle warm-up before the longer ride ahead.

Drawbridge over the Dead Vistula
A modern drawbridge leading towards Sobieszewo Island. This is where the city fades away and nature takes over. Wide views open across the branches of the Vistula River.

Sobieszewo Island
A peaceful green island known for nature reserves and wide sandy beaches. The route continues through forests and quiet cycling paths — an ideal place for your first longer stop.

Vistula Cycling Route / EuroVelo 9
You join a section of the international EuroVelo 9 route. Scenic, spacious and mostly flat, with comfortable riding and panoramic views.

Mikoszewo Ferry Crossing
Ferry crossing over the Vistula River (ticket not included). It takes you to the Vistula Spit — on the other side, the landscape becomes distinctly coastal.

Stegna Beach
One of the widest beaches in the region. Optional detour to the Baltic Sea for a break. A perfect spot for lunch or coffee with a sea view.

Sztutowo
Home to the former Stutthof concentration camp memorial site (free entry). A place of reflection and an important historical point along the route.

Kąty Rybackie
A traditional fishing village where the Vistula Lagoon begins. Famous for fresh and smoked fish — an excellent stop for regional cuisine.

Vistula Spit Canal
A modern shipping canal connecting the Vistula Lagoon with the Gulf of Gdańsk. Infrastructure contrasts with the surrounding wild nature.

Wild Vistula Spit
A remote stretch through forests, dunes and endless beaches. The most untouched part of the journey — silence, sea air and the wild Baltic coast.

Krynica Morska
Finish of the tour. A seaside resort with marina, beach and promenade. Drop off your bike at our point — we transport it back to Gdańsk.
